C'est magnifique

WOW, these caught my eye in Daunts this morning. They are designed by the super talented Coraline Bickford-Smith . They are magnificent and make me think why on earth anyone would want to read a book on a kindle when you have beautifully made books made like this...They also would make a smashing present for someone...anyone ..ME...

This illustrator Rahel Eisenring work is so blooming terrific, I LOVE it, especially her beautiful portraits and that bonkers picture of the monkey eating while the lady sleeps. Smashing.

Happy Danish Pictures

After an awful weekend of such hideous news these pictures are certainly cheered me up. From the Denmark's national library

Some of the photos were staged, the photographer wanted to give people a happy escape from the unemployment, despair and depression in the 1930s and 1940s. I love them, so many jems on Flicker to be found.
