more pics from the south of france

4 beautiful days in the south of france 1 horrible day of delayed planes and broken baggage. So many beautiful buildings, and the light is spectacular.

I picked this wee fellow up at Spitalfields friday market.

I love this illustrator, I wish she would put more work up on her website

A few drawings from my Belfast Boys

Another nice book find 'London Night and Day' first published in 1951. It is an alternative guide to London, letting you know where all the top night spots are and where you can see the best dancers! It had some lovely maps and title page illustrations by Osbert (great name) Lancaster.

A Hoxton Childhood, beautiful illustration printed around the paperback cover by James Boswell I'm not sure if this is him..http://www.jboswell.info. Such a sad book though.

I saw some interesting fonts and signs in Portugal. I loved the Robbialac, retroastic!
